PITTSBURGH, PA – October 22, 2024 – Today, Senator Jay Costa joins State Representative Jessica Benham to announce $423,934 in LSA funding benefitting their district.
“I am delighted to be announcing the recipients of these LSA dollars to benefit our communities,” said Senator Costa. “These dollars will help deliver safety, quality of life, and basic needs to our friends and neighbors across the 43rd district. I look forward to seeing these dollars improve our municipalities and improving the daily experiences of our fellow residents.”
“I am thrilled to have worked with Senator Costa to help deliver funding for road repairs in Mt. Oliver,” Benham said. “Once complete, this project will provide major traffic improvements for all who live in and travel through the borough. The rehabilitation of roads like Stamm Avenue is long overdue and we’ll continue advocating for more state funding to revitalize the transportation infrastructure that our community members rely on every day.”
Alongside Representative Jessica Benham, Senator Costa announces that Mt. Oliver Borough was awarded $423,934 for Road Reconstruction and Paving Improvements, which will allow residents to more easily access their homes and help avoid vehicle damages.
